Sportscomplex Velodroom - Heusden-Zolder

A unique top sports complex with wooden cycling track was completed in Heusden-Zolder (BE) in October 2023. The sports complex was designed and built around the ideal cycling track that should bring down current world records.

A steel roof structure with steel deck was chosen for rapid installation. We were asked to supply no less than 10,000 m2 of our Hacierco® 3,250,165 in galva. 

Over 3,300 m2 of our corrugated profile Frequence® 14.76.15 in Hairplus coating and RAL 9005 colour was also used to finish the beautifully rounded façade. Combined with wood, this makes for a very successful result! 

Fun fact: this sports complex is right next to the Zolder racing circuit.
