Machinefabriek Verhoeven in Oss produces customised machines and installations for the food industry and has acquired a strong position in the industrial bakery market. Verhoeven machinery realises complete turn-key projects.
This success led to expansion. An adjacent cold store was purchased to make way for a new multi-storey warehouse and an adjacent office. Light from the facades and roof have taken an important place. The building is also equipped with very sustainable solutions, including heat-cold storage in the ground, heat recovery, climate ceilings and LED lighting. Solar panels will be installed on the roof of both the existing and the new building. After completion of the expansion, there will be over 2000 of them on the roof.
The design was realised by Ariens CS architects & engineers and the project was built by
Wagemakers Construction Company in Oss.
ArcelorMittal supplied various roof and facade solutions that included the highest possible airtightness by means of sandwich panels and carrier panels (type Hybrid). The PIR insulation sandwich panels are finished in Ral7021.
The office was also equipped with our Cassette system type Coques MD.
This cassette system is blind mounted by means of a bracket system in which the cassette is fixed. The outside of the Coques MD system is coated with Hairultra 35úm in the colour 9010.
